| The Abaco Systems RES3244 is a 24-port Gigabit Ethernet plus 4-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet fully managed Layer 2/3+ standalone rugged switch. It is the highest-density member of the RES3000 family, adding four 10GBASE-SR fiber uplink ports to the 24x 1GbE copper port configuration of the RES3240. Like all RES3000 variants, the RES3244 is optimized for SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, and Cost) and is VICTORY (Vehicular Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability) switch-compliant. It meets a wide range of MIL-STD specifications and is managed via Abaco's proprietary OpenWare switch management environment. The RES3244 is suited to applications requiring both high-density copper connectivity to end devices and high-bandwidth 10GbE fiber uplinks for aggregation or inter-chassis connectivity.
